Teen Novel(ties) Book Box
Grand Forks Public is excited to introduce the Teen Novel(ties) Book Box. This bi-monthly themed box will allow teens to enjoy a book handpicked by a librarian, paired with an assortment of cozy, bookish trinkets (such as candy, stickers, bookmarks, pens, and more)!
Unboxing the Teen Novel(ties) Book Box is an experience designed to encourage a lifelong love of reading.
Who Can Sign Up
Teen Novel(ties) Book Box is available for anyone ages 12-18. The only requirement is that the recipient needs a Grand Forks Public library card number. (You can request one online.)
Because there are a limited number of supplies, boxes will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are unable to participate in one month, we will maintain a waitlist for future months.
How to Sign Up
Whether you want to sign up yourself, your son or daughter, your niece or nephew, or your grandson or granddaughter—all you have to do is fill out this form. We will then notify you by email or mail if you are a recipient of the bi-monthly box.
How It Works
If you are on our list to receive the Teen Novel(ties) Book Box, you will be contacted when the box is ready for pickup:
The box will be available via Curbside Pickup for one week.
Take the box home, open it, and enjoy the contents.
It will be checked out for two months.
The box and book can be returned to the book drop in front of Grand Forks Public.
(You get to keep the other items in the box.)
Await your next box of goodies!
Capture the fun and share it on social media. Use the hashtag #whatsintheboxGFP when you post your unboxing to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc. We encourage you to share your experience with your friends to spread the word and the love of reading!
Each Teen Novel(ties) Book Box will center around a theme. Upcoming themes include:
March 2021: Who Run the World? Girls!
May 2021: Love is Love
July 2021: Sweet Summertime
September 2021: Twisted Tales
Note: Themes are subject to change, depending on the materials available.
Special thank you to the Grand Forks Public Friends, who are providing funds and materials to make this program possible.
