We enjoy seeing our patrons make the library their own for special occasions like book clubs, play groups, or even birthdays. To make sure everyone has a good experience, here are some guidelines for gatherings:
- Seating works on a first-come, first-served basis. Tables are not reserved for gatherings, but you are welcome to find a cozy spot. (Note: Sometimes library space is reserved for programming.)
- Feel free to bring snacks and nonalcoholic drinks along, just remember to tidy up afterward and be mindful of those around you. Any serving supplies, plates, napkins, etc. need to be provided by you.
- While we’re always here to help with your library needs, staff are unable to provide assistance and supplies for gatherings.
- Cake is welcome, but keep the candles at home for safety reasons.
- We're not your typical "shhh" library, but let's keep the noise friendly and considerate of others who might be studying or reading nearby. We want to ensure an enjoyable library experience for all.
