Request an Inter-Library Loan

Sometimes you will search our catalog and not find what you need. We welcome you to Recommend A Title, especially if it is a new release. You may view our full Collection Development Policy here. 

Otherwise, you can often borrow titles from other libraries via interlibrary loan.

The picture above shows an unsuccessful author search. You can try the tips, or check if a word was misspelled. If that doesn’t work, you can Expand your Search to All ODIN Libraries using the dropdown and try your search again. Success! We can see below that another library has books by this author. 

Click the PLACE REQUEST button and follow the prompts. When the book is ready to check out we will send you an email or letter in the mail. 

If other libraries in our system do not have what you need, the last step is to try your search using the More Libraries dropdown. You can also contact us directly to see if we can locate that hard-to-find item for you.
