|The Children's Garden Club is open to kids in grades K-6. The club is meant to spark interest in gardening, nutrition, and the environment. The club is free and is a wonderful hands-on learning opportunity. If your child is excited about digging in the dirt or curious about gardening then be sure to join us!
No sign up required. This summer the club will meet at the library on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Week 1: June 5th (Plant Propagation, Plant Growth & Transpiration)
Week 2: June 12th (Cultivation - Planting Garden)
Week 3: June 19th (Earthworms, Compost, Nitrogen Cycle)
Week 4: June 26th (Floral Arranging)
Week 5: July 10th (Broccoli, Tomatoes & Onions, Vegetables)
Week 6: July 17th (Herbs & Spices, Radishes & Lettuce)
Week 7: July 24th (Honey Bees, Butterfly, Moth & Caterpillar)
Week 8: July 31st (Monocot & Dicot Plants, Peas, Beans Class & Usage)
Week 9: August 2nd (Garden Party)
