    Drop-in & Knit is held every Friday at 12:00 PM in the Grand Forks Public Library. It's open to anyone with an interest in knitting, crocheting, or other fiber crafts. This isn't a how-to class but is a social event for fiber enthusiasts. We still try to answer questions if we can. Feel free to Drop-in & Knit when you have time.

    A full month of unique crafts and homemade goodness. Join us on Saturdays in the library to create items for gifts, items for yourself, or simply to learn a new skill and spend time meeting new friends. 2019’s series will include a paint pouring class (9th), a handmade journal class (16th), soup in a jar (23rd), and DIY Bath Bombs (30th). Attend one class or all four! Each class is limited to 25 people, ages 13 and up, all supplies will be provided. If planning to attend all 4 classes, you will need to register for each one individually

Then NaNoWriMo is the event for you, National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is the whole month of November where writers of all levels are challenged to write 50,000 words! Northern Ink Writers Group participates in this challenge by offering a community of support, encouragement, and time spent with writers of all skill sets during their annual all day write in.     Make a trip to the library to visit our Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Community Expo. The expo brings together several organizations that work in Grand Forks to help end hunger and homelessness in our community. Organizations attending include: Salvation Army, St. Joseph’s Social Care, Hope Center Food Pantry, Mountainbrook, Northeast Human Services, Great Plains Food Bank, & Grand Forks Police Department.
